Recently I was listening to my father share the story on Mathew 22:20-22 . He also thought on how humans were created at the image of God. And then is when it hit me. If the image of God is in my neighbor…why do I continue to see pornography? And I say this not only because I watch it. Pornographic images are everywhere. And I have to have the guts to stop seen TV shows that might lead me to fall in. I want to honor God, my wife, mi kids and my friends. And if that requires that I turn off the TV more often, I will. I that requires that I control the way I look at women, I will. I do not want to see the image of God being dishonored as it is done by pornography. I did not understand this passage as I do now. How about you?

Recently my father and I had a conversation, a long conversation. You know those that are not that often in families anymore. – Which by the way, I recommend not to wait until you are your father/mother age to have a conversation with them.- So we talked about dreams. And that same day, my wife and I went to have a cappuccino and we talked about dreams and I told her: I cannot depend on people to dream. I cannot depend on somebody else to make my dreams come true. That’s why I try to share in every post a piece of my dream. What do I dream of? I dream of unity in the leadership. I dream of sharing knowledge that makes peoples life better. I dream of a Church that cares, not only for those who are inside, but mostly for those who are yet to come. What are your dreams?

It’s been a while since I posted anything on this blog. Mainly because I’ve dedicated my time to my Spanish blog. But recently I activated my facebook account and started to get in touch with my old friends from New Jersey , where I went to school. I think that my writings can be of help to all them and those who might read them. So, let’s give this another try. Stat tuned.
